Sociology department of AMU organises National Seminar

The Department of Sociology, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing a National Seminar on "Globalization and Disadvantaged Groups: Locating Untouchability in India" on February 26, 2015 at 9.30 am in the Boy's Polytechnic Conference Hall. On this occasion, AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah (Retd.) will release a book on this issue authored by Dr. C.L. Sonkar, PCS.

Prof. P.C. Joshi, University of Delhi, Brigadier S. Ahmad Ali (Retd), Pro-Vice Chancellor, Mr. Birjendra Singh, Retd IPS and Mr. Vivek Bansal will also grace the function as a guest. Noted historian, Professor Irfan Habib will deliver the keynote address.
